↑Gallery news↑August 12 (beginning at 4pm) - August 31, 2008 at the LvivArt Gallery: “Rhyme” Wood Paintings Exhibit by Roman Opalynsky.
The artist was born and lives in the town of Horodok, Lviv Region. He is a graduate of the Glass Art Department of the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (today, the Lviv Academy of Arts). In addition to painting, the artist also experiments with graphic and metal art. His works have been shown at a number of exhibits in Ukraine and abroad. He has had personal exhibits in Ukraine, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia. His works can be found in private collections in Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Australia and Israel. The given exhibit draws the beholder into a unique figurative world, creating around him or her a mood that through symbols and allegories elicits a desire to be part of the depicted environs.
