Life flows. Day turns into night. Winter comes as an alternate to summer. Each season of the year carries its song. The richness of summer fills our lives with sun-tinted colors and bathes our bodies with its warmth. But it is then that we remember the peace and calm which bring us the winter holidays of St. Nicholas, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Only in winter is it possible to build crystal palaces of ice and snow, to hark back to our primordial past where beauty allows us to be one on one with ourselves. It is that period of the year when secrets are hidden deep below the surface of the snow. It is the time for searching within ourselves. It is the time when legends are born.
Whose golden footprints
Meandering I follow
Through labyrinths of thought and desire
Forever indebted to secrets.
Deep in the hollows of the mind
