Born in 1980, Daryna Skrynnyk-Mys’ka is a graduate of the Lviv Ivan Trush State College for Decorative and Practical Art with a specialty in art restoration. From 2002 through 2004, she attended the Art Restoration Department of the Lviv Art Academy, and from 2002 through 2006 she was also a student the Stanislav Liudkevych Lviv State Music College, Academic Song Department. From 2004 through 2007, she did post-graduate work at the Lviv Ivan Franko National University, Department of History and Cultural Theory, which culminated with her dissertation titled “The Basic Conceptual-Philosophical Evolution of Ukrainian Fine Art During the Late 19th/Early 20th Centuries.” She has authored five scholarly works and participated in nine academic conferences. She teaches at the Department of Academic Drawing at the Lviv Ivan Trush State College for Decorative and Practical Art.

She has held numerous exhibits in Ukraine, as well as in Poland and Slovakia.
