Karvatskyj Vasyl'

The artist was born on February 6, 1983, in Stare Selo, Lviv region. In 1999, he entered the Lviv Ivan Trush College of Decorative and Practical Art, Sculpture Department, which he completed in 2004. That same year he entered the Lviv National Art Academy, majoring in Sacred Art. He is set to graduate from the Academy in 2010. Exhibits in which he participated: 2002 – Student Exhibit at the Ivan Trush College; 2003 - Takasaki Іnternational Аrt and Music Competition; 2003-2006 – participation in various exhibits and student expos. 2007 – participation in the Stalowa Wola Self-Portrait Competiton. His works can be found in private collections in Canada, the Netherlands, Poland and Germany. Creativity is his strong point. He specializes in painting, graphic art and sculptures. His niche is avant-garde, but he is also comfortable with other styles. His weaknesses are music and writing poetry.
