Roksolana Kotula
Born in the Lviv region, Roksolana studied, from 1977 through 1982, at the Department of Interior and Furniture Design at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (today the Lviv National Art Academy). Known for her paintings and graphic works, she also has been teaching art at a middle school level since 1983. In 2000, she was awarded a scholarship to attend the Summer Art Academy in Salzburg, Austria. In 2004, she studied in Munich, Germany. Her works can be found in private collections in Ukraine, Austria, Germany and the United States.
Roman Yatsiv
Born in 1956 in the Lviv region, Roman studied, from 1973 through 1978, at the Department of Interior and Furniture Design at the Lviv State Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (today the Lviv National Art Academy). Following graduation, he worked in various positions at the Lviv Museum of Ukrainian Art and the Lviv Branch of the Maksym Rylskyi Institute of Art, Folklore and Ethnography of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2007, he has been Dean of the Academic Works Department of the Lviv National Art Academy. He holds a PhD in art and is a member of both the National Artists Guild of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Artists Club. His contributions in the sphere of culture have been recognized on a national level. Known for his paintings, graphics works and artistic photography, he is also regarded as an art expert and teacher. His works can be found in private collections in Ukraine, Germany, Canada and the United States.
